If you have any specific questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
However, please find below a list of frequently asked question we hope will provide you with more details about Kerry D and the service we offer.
Is there catering?
Yes, we supply light snacks, lunches, soft drinks and water.
What happens if I feel seasick?
We encourage you if you think it might be a concern to take your seasickness medicine at least 2 hours before we cast off to allow them time to take effect.
How do I pay?
You’re able to pay over the phone when you book (preferred) or at the boat, using cash or card. However, payment must be made in full before departure.
Is there disabled access?
Yes, the Beachcomber is wheelchair user accessible as your car. However, if you have any specific requirements, we would ask that you contact us to make sure we can make your trip as comfortable and safe as possible.
Do the boats have toilet facilities?
Yes. Both boats are fully equipped for a whole day out at sea.
Are you a banana lover?
It’s common knowledge that mariners view bananas as bearers of bad luck. The reasons for this and the way that bad luck manifests varies depending on who you talk to but, in the interest of making sure you have a good catch, we’d sooner leave them off-board.
Can I bring alcohol?
Yes! We want to make sure you have a great time and if you’d like an alcoholic beverage we don’t provide them, but you are more than welcome to bring your favoured tipple along (cans preferred). Please respect.
What do I do with my catch?
Whatever you want – you are free to either release your catch or keep it. If you choose to keep you catch, we have ice boxes on hand to maintain freshness until we get back to shore.
If you have any other questions or queries about any aspect of what we offer, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
