I did a half day charter. Perfect fishing boat, good gear, skipper and deckhand went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and keep us fishing. Nothing was a problem for them. Long story short, had a brillant day and came back with a great catch of blue nose salmon. I will definitely be booking with them again when I come back to Karumba.

I have never had a weeks fishing like i have with Ben from Kerry D Fishing.
Ben has looked after me, and 6 other fellas that enjoyed themselves more than we could ever wish for.
Ben’s determination for us, win or lose, is unmatched. And we, as fishermen who have at least half a brain, understand that every day cant be the ‘dream’ fishing day you always hope for.
What we men out having a fish with Ben figured out, is that no matter what, would have an absolute blast with him: And don’t be surprised when we admit to having THE BEST day out fishing with him.
Ben is one of those blokes that you never forget. as a 25 year old guy out with his older brother, my dad, and 70 year old friends, we have had an absolute blast. He deserves every dollars he is charging. We just LOVED him. He feels like a friend.
If this doesn’t pursued you to take a charter with him, maybe the 10+ Spanish Mackerel will.
And yes, you may not have the exact same INSANE experience we had together, but Ben will try his whole heart out to get you what you want. He knows his stuff. Do not doubt the man.
Thank you Ben for making our time together a sensational time. I just know without a doubt thag we would have had such a great time, even if the fish weren’t chewing.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to both Jemma and Grady for the one of the best fishing charters that we have done.
The fish we caught were amazing. The laughter onboard was amazing.
If you are looking for a charter then I would recommend Jemma and Kerry D. We did 3 charters over 5 days. 1 afternoon and 2 morning charter and our freezer is full. Thank you so much for having us. We will be back again

We had a sensational day out with Skipper Ben and Deckhand Grady. Can’t speak highly enough of this professionally run charter.
They made sure everyone on the boat had an equal chance to catch good fish. My husband caught a big Spanish mackerel and we both got a bag load of blue salmon. I even had fun playing a huge bronze whaler shark.
We will be back!

Had an awesome few days out with Kerry D Fishing in Karumba. Ben and Jemma looked after me right from the absolute start and helped me tick off that long awaited bucket list catch with a mackerel over a meter! yewwwww, good vibes all round on the boats. I had a great day out with Ben. Gemma was great when booking got straight back to me when I called. Everything was included food drinks and gear, age appropriate song lists. I barely had to do anything just open the spool and fish. Ben was very attentive to everyone on the boat. It was a sensational day out. I would recommend this to anyone

I just have to share this story of Kerry D Fishing Charters. They have taken myself and our friends out to say good by to my husband. He passed recently and we where residents in Karumba for 14 years. We didn’t even know Ben and Jemma but because we lived here for so long they took us out to the sand island to lay flowers on the water for Colin. The service they supplied was above and beyond. When we arrived they supplied flowers for us to spread on the water and a spray of flowers for me I was just so over come. They are just amazing.
